Whether you are looking to finish school without losing your mind, deal with stressful relationships or just want to stop doing backflips and stressing yourself out to keep everyone else happy, I can help. You can check out my website to get a better feel for my style and my specialities. You can also book a free phone consultation directly from my online scheduler, because no one wants to play phone or email tag.
I work with individuals and couples (including other relationship styles such as ethical non-monogamy and polyamory) who are wanting to engage in deep exploration of their current and past concerns and understand their impact. Anxiety and depression are so prevalent these days. Coping with difficult transitions such as adjusting to college, being weighed down by existential/career pressures can feel so overwhelming. Romantic struggles are also stressful, including conflict with your beloved related to intimacy, infidelity, etc. Communication with your partner/family member can feel so frustrating at times. "Getting on the same page" with your partner prior to taking the next step would feel great. Coping with a loss can make you feel powerless. These are all really heavy life challenges that many of us face, but you don't have to face them alone. I am here to help. I work with individuals and couples by providing you with the tools you need for healthier relationships, better communication, and more fulfillment. I will help you sort through the various questions that impede love and joy in your life. I also offer Brainspotting, a revolutionary brain-body processing method that heals emotional wounds/traumas which may take longer to heal with traditional talk therapy alone. I look forward to offering you an opportunity for more healing!

I enjoy the experience of witnessing my clients release traumatic events from their core. I know and understand, as I have been there myself, what it feels like to feel weighted down by events/emotions that are no longer in existence. I help my clients release these combinations of events and emotions that no longer serve them.
We all face challenges, stressors, traumas, losses, and changes in life. Especially as women. Especially now. We are supposed to have it all, do it all, be it all. For everyone. All the time. Like yesterday. At Discover Peace Within, we recognize that as a human being, you have access to a reservoir of strength, resiliency, and peace within you. Yet, right now, you feel so far away from that sense of peace. Your childhood trauma keeps repeating itself in your relationships. Your low self-esteem makes you say “yes” when you mean “no.” You’re constantly worried if you belong. You lay awake at night wondering if you said the right thing? Did the right thing? You’re fearful of being “too much” while also feeling “not enough.” Life is happening so fast - you feel that you can’t keep up. You want to feel closer to yourself. Your true self. Not the self that you present to the world. Or to your boss and co-workers. Or even friends or family. You know what living in your true self feels like. You’ve had glimpses of it before. When your body-mind-spirit all clicked into place. You know she’s still there. She’s underneath all of the trauma from childhood. Or the messages from others about what you SHOULD be. What society makes you believe you HAVE to do. You’re blocked from making choices that YOU want to make. You’re held back from going for that job, putting yourself out there with friends, or resting when you need to. You struggle seeing the good in you. And yet, there is a voice within you, reminding you of your true self. Therapy can be a helpful place to get back to you. To get back to your true self. Working with a therapist at Discover Peace Within can offer you a sacred space - a time dedicated solely to you and your needs. A time for you to heal. Take a chance on you to discover peace within and book an appointment now.

Relationship, timeline, and type of death loss varies - all aspects will be addressed & supported in this group. Serving all Colorado residents via in-person or Telehealth.
Our experienced professionals understand trauma and are here to listen as we join you on your healing journey. They won’t be surprised by anything you choose to share but they will sit with you, mourn with you and guide you as you unpack your experiences.
Are you struggling with feelings of disconnection and isolation? Are you too self-critical or perfectionistic and want to work on your self-esteem and sense of self? Do you want to learn how to let go, have fun, and live in the moment? Do you want to get more in touch with your playful and creative inner child? Does the idea of doing improv comedy make you feel nervous, but you’re intrigued? Do you like to laugh? Within a small, supportive group of 4-7 people that meets for eight weeks, you will learn how to be more compassionate towards yourself so that you can feel calmer and more connected to other people, more often! You will practice your self-compassion skills in real-time through tailored improv comedy exercises that are designed to support you on the path toward increasing your self-acceptance and self-confidence. At its core, improv comedy helps you to take risks, make mistakes, and not take yourself so seriously. We will laugh a lot : ) Past clients have said… “I always felt nervous to go, but felt like something had been released after each session." “I love the space to talk about what we are dealing with. I have never been actually excited to go to therapy until finding this group.” "The play and improv was beneficial for my perfectionism because I got to experience just diving into things." "I loved connecting with people who I felt really understood me.” “I am forever changed!”
I believe our emotional reactions are rarely random. When stress flares or we feel stuck, it often activates deeper attachment wounds, unmet needs, or patterns shaped by our relationships and systems. In the here & now, I help clients slow down, notice thoughts, emotions, & bodily sensations, exploring what’s truly holding them back. I approach therapy through a systemic, attachment-informed lens, integrating mindfulness & presence to foster self-awareness, self-compassion, & more intentional, authentic ways of relating to yourself & others.
I work with young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life adjustments, academic/career stress, body image, identity/self-esteem, LGBTQIA+ issues, and sleep issues. I am trained through an eclectic array of therapeutic modalities but often work through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens. When working with sleep issues and insomnia, I am trained in CBT-I (CBT for insomnia). I prioritize meeting every client and family where they are in order to formulate an individualized treatment plan that works best for you. I enjoy genuinely connecting with my clients and their families by leaning on client strengths, values, and the authenticity of the therapeutic relationship. I find it beneficial to bring our personalities and humanness into the therapeutic process to facilitate a safe space for my clients. Life can be really messy and I'm honored to join you in that vulnerability. If it sounds like l might be a good fit for you, please reach out for a consultation! I'd be happy to connect with you.
