You are too familiar with stress, worry, and anxiety - even overthinking. Are you feeling lonely, inadequate, socially anxious, even panicky? Sick and tired of living constantly anxious and fearful? You can be helped to grow and expand into a state of freedom, self-confidence, and empowerment to live a life worth living. Avoidance and self-medicating anxiety with alcohol/drugs can leave you high and dry - even feeling worse! You can learn how to make your fears and worries smaller and manageable and practice the steps toward leading a full, satisfying life. This is too important. Relief is real: Life is more than just surviving! Are recurring distressing thoughts, flashbacks, and nightmares of past events - even from childhood - haunting you? Perhaps you have tried "talk therapy," but after a short time your return to the "same old, same old" without getting the results you long for. That's discouraging, isn't it? Long-lasting change is possible. Don't lose hope: Let me help you. With effective therapy like EMDR, we can rewrite negative stories in your unconscious mind, where irrational fears and trauma reside, so that you may achieve a more thoroughgoing renovation of your mind, soul, and spirit. One of my happy places is the beach. I am from the beautiful island of Jamaica and some of my most treasured memories and happiest times were spent at the beach. Living in Atlanta, I am not able to go to the beach as often as I would like, therefore, I bring the beach into my daily life through relaxation skills, music, décor, and my general mindset. As your therapist, my hope is that I can help you find your “happy place.” This may be a place, a person, a pet, an activity... anything that nourishes your mind, body and soul. I welcome the opportunity to help you learn how to develop solutions, feel empowered, and create a healthy lifestyle filled with joy, stability, self-acceptance, emotional well-being, and ultimately, happiness.

My name is Danielle Veader and I work with young adults that are struggling to find balance and enjoyment in their lives. The stress of early adulthood can be really overwhelming. Class work, parental expectations, and navigating relationships is challenging. Anxiety, depression, and/or a general sense of feeling lost can seep in. I work with clients to help them better understand and manage their emotions. I partner with them to acquire the tools and skills to better cope with the inevitable stressors of life. We all understand that life can be hard, but no one has to navigate it alone.
Please note that my practice is virtual. There are no in-person appointments available. Even after many years of work in the field, I remain amazed and reassured by the resilience and determination of people to make the changes they wish to make and begin to live the lives they genuinely desire. It takes strength and hope to reach out to someone for help with a difficulty. I honor that strength by providing a setting that nurtures those assets while simultaneously supporting the desire to change. Because change is sometimes difficult, I provide a setting that helps individuals explore desired outcomes and build new skills in a safe and confidential environment. I genuinely enjoy witnessing the growth that occurs through psychotherapy and understand that changes often continue to occur long after therapy concludes. The change and growth that transpire are testament to the power of interpersonal relationships. Whether that relationship is therapist-patient, partners or spouses, parent-child, etc., we grow and thrive when our relationships are healthy, including our relationship with our self. With this in mind, my understanding of how people change and grow is rooted in systems and interpersonal process theories. Additionally, I appreciate that difficulties are often multifaceted, having social, psychological, and biological contributing factors. My work springs from this understanding and experience and incorporates behavioral, cognitive, and dynamic interventions as appropriate.
Hi! My name is India Harris and I am the founder of Root & Stem Women's Therapies. I find great satisfaction in supporting young adults during significant life transitions and adjustments. My name is Jessica Kettell and I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I am here to help you restore your mental health and empower you to live your life to your fullest potential. Are you feeling sad or empty? Do you have trouble sleeping? Or maybe, you are so overwhelmed, anxious, or discouraged that it’s hard for you to make it through the day? You might find it hard to focus on tasks or assignments. Whatever problems you are facing right now, let’s tackle them together! You are not alone. You deserve to be happy and enjoy your life. I have completed a Fellowship Program in Functional and Integrative Psychiatry with Dr. James Greenblatt. My lifelong dream has been to make mental health care more accessible to individuals and to reduce the stigma associated with mental health treatment. Just as it is normal to seek treatment for diabetes, it should be natural to seek treatment to improve your mental health. You are a biochemically unique individual. A treatment that works well for someone, might not work best for you. That is why I use an evidence-based, whole-body, personalized approach to identify all factors that might be contributing to your mental health condition such as nutrition, lifestyle, hormones, genetics, and stress. Good nutrition and lifestyle practices are the foundation of mental wellness. I would love to support you on your mental health journey. Let’s do this together!

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Through a holistic and personalized approach to care, I seek to help my patients thrive. With my diverse background, I’ve had the privilege of caring for the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals, families, and communities. I prioritize a patient-centered approach, value collaboration, and empower my clients to overcome challenges. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Post-Masters Certificate specializing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Georgia State University. I also have a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University in Savannah, GA. I’m here to guide you toward lasting wellness and look forward to partnering with you on your journey to better mental health. I am deeply committed to patient care and making a meaningful impact on those struggling with psychological challenges. As a dual board-certified NP, I take a holistic approach to care, recognizing the connection between mental and physical health. I am passionate about improving access to quality mental health care and ensuring individuals receive compassionate, evidence-based treatment. My goal is to meet people where they are, providing support, guidance, and healing while addressing barriers to care. I tailor my approach by building therapeutic relationships with each patient, listening to their goals and values. I assess their unique needs and involve them in setting collaborative treatment goals. I respect patient preferences for care, which includes making adjustments that align with cultural beliefs. Open communication and scheduled check-ins ensure the treatment plan stays aligned with their needs, while respecting autonomy.
I have experience working with adults and elderly who struggle with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, schizophrenia, bipolar, personality disorders, along with major life transitions and end-of-life decisions. My work with adolescents includes depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, school behavior concerns, and sexual identity. We will talk about negative thoughts and behaviors & learn techniques to alleviate the symptoms you are experiencing using play-, talk-, and/or art- therapy techniques. We will work together to achieve self-acceptance. I will provide a judgment free zone, with a feeling of safety, comfort, and an open mind. I often had difficulty expressing my feelings & my father taught me how to think critically, love unconditionally, never judge, and how to use other forms of self-expression, like art and writing. I was introduced to AA meetings & found comfort & safety to express my thoughts with my father’s life lessons & knew this was my path. I earned my BS in Psychology at Florida State University in 2015 and MS in Counseling with a concentration in mental health at NOVA Southeastern University in 2019. I am Trilingual (English/Spanish/French). I enjoy practicing self care through painting, dancing, singing, travelling, and binge watching TV shows with my husband & fur-baby, Maddy.

I am a Physician Assistant experienced in working in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. I diagnose and help patients to manage conditions including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, sleep issues, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and much more. Through medication management, I aspire to help my patients manage their conditions as best as possible by using the least amount of medication in order to manage their symptoms. I also am familiar with over-the-counter / naturopathic approaches to mental health and how using these vitamins as adjuncts to medication can often work synergistically with psychiatric meds. I know that medications aren’t always the only method to improve your mental health, so oftentimes I refer my patients to counseling and therapy too. Originally from the state of FL, I graduated from then University of FL with my bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies before earning my PA degree from the University of South Alabama in 2020. I was recently awarded a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Psychiatry by the NCCPA.
Having a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and valued is essential. I warmly invite you into a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore who you are and what your needs are in order to heal and grow. I deeply believe that you are the expert of your own experience, and I use a collaborative approach to support you in exploring, understanding, and shaping your path forward. I work with clients in both an individual and relationship capacity, helping people deepen their understanding of themselves, their connections, and their emotional intimacy with others. My areas of specialization include chronic illness, LGBTQ+ folks, neurodivergence, trauma-related dissociation, and complex trauma. As a queer, trans, and neurodiverse therapist, I know how difficult it can be to take this step. I am here to support you, exactly as you are, with care and understanding. If you're interested in seeing if we are a good fit, reach out via email or phone & we can chat about how I can support you.
I specialize in promoting emotional and relational wellness by addressing concerns about depression, anxiety, and other issues resulting from trauma. I am a naturally intuitive and empathetic person, so part of who I am as a therapist is genuinely enjoying listening to people talk about their lives. My primary goal is to create a safe space for you to explore your feelings - snarkiness, self-deprecating humor, cursing, etc. is all welcome and accepted. Over time, I will help you make sense of your experiences and start to see and understand yourself from a more compassionate perspective. I'm also a neuroscience nerd, so another part of who I am as a therapist is helping you understand how your brain works and the how and why of what we’re doing in therapy. We'll talk about subpersonalities, neuroplasticity, memory networks, and more...but don't worry: I have an extensive library of articles, videos, and memes to help explain things. The most important part of who I am as a therapist is believing that therapy isn't just where you learn how to “deal with” mental health problems, but that for those who are ready, therapy can provide real healing. Using IFS-Informed EMDR, I help clients “reconsolidate” trauma memories, allowing you to experience transformational and lasting change.

As a therapist with more than 30 years of experience I know that investing in oneself takes time and effort but also that the outcome is well worth the commitment – YOU are worth the commitment. By working together to address issues related to trauma, mood (anxiety, depression, anger), LGBTQ+ identity, and/or life transitions we will work to create ways of thinking and acting that allow you to be the best version of you that you can be. Whether the issues to be addressed in therapy are relatively new or they have been with you since childhood, I can help you create the satisfying life you deserve. From our first interaction, you can expect me to be compassionate, empowering, open-minded, and empathetic. I will help you understand the ways in which your thought processes and behaviors interfere with your life and challenge you to incorporate healthier ways to cope. Together, we will create a space where you feel safe enough to be your authentic self. Please visit my website to understand more about how I would approach our work together or to read my blogs about topics commonly addressed in therapy. I would love to speak with you to determine if I am the right person to help you to address whatever interferes with your wellbeing. You are so deserving of a contented life – let me help you get there.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings a warm approach to direct, empowering, and holistic therapy to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks. My therapy style is collaborative, humorous, and affirming as I believe you are the expert in your own life but I can be a supportive tool to help you in being who you want to be! Healing isn't one-size-fits-all, and therapy shouldn't be either. My work is based in trauma-informed care that honors where you've been, what you have experienced, and meets you exactly where you are. I believe your body holds wisdom that talk therapy alone can't always reach, which is why we integrate somatic approaches that help you reconnect with yourself on a deeper level.
