Students today face a lot of pressure—academically, socially, and emotionally. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or struggling to stay focused and motivated. Sometimes past experiences or trauma can make everyday stress feel even harder to manage. I offer a supportive space to talk openly, understand what you’re going through, and learn practical tools to cope with stress, anxiety, and difficult emotions. Together, we can work toward helping you feel more balanced, confident, and supported.
I provide individual therapy in a confidential setting, and listen carefully to your concerns without judgement. In therapy, we will collaborate to help you better understand your patterns, and build skills and resilience for navigating the college experience with more ease and confidence. As you explore options for therapy, you are welcome to reach out with any questions, and/or to schedule an initial consultation. I would be happy to talk with you and see if my practice is a fit for your needs.
Are you a young adult who struggles to maintain friendships or succeed at work or school? I specialize in the treatment of children, adolescents and young adults who experience anxiety, social difficulties, behavioral issues, ADHD, or low self-esteem. Specifically, I have expertise working with neurodivergent clients. I enjoy helping clients experience greater success at school, home, work, or with peers--ultimately reducing anxiety and improving self-esteem. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, behavioral strategies, and a strengths-based approach. My focus is on creating a strong, foundational relationship with clients. I value client feedback, and respect the unique needs and strengths of each person I work with. My goal is to encourage and empower individuals to reach their greatest potential.
Starting therapy is a big step—one that takes courage. College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. Maybe you're struggling with the weight of past experiences, feeling lost about your future, or dealing with relationship challenges that leave you unsure of where you stand. Balancing all of this while trying to keep up with school and daily life can feel like too much to handle on your own. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. Therapy is a space where you can bring your full self—your worries, frustrations, hopes, and uncertainties—without fear of judgment. My goal is to help you make sense of what feels messy, reconnect with your strengths, and navigate the challenges that are holding you back. I specialize in working with college students and understand the unique struggles that come with this stage of life. If you're curious about how therapy might help, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. Feel free to check out my website or send me an email with any questions. No matter what you're facing, you're not alone, and I'm here to support you.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist, offering individual psychotherapy to adults who may find themselves stuck, dissatisfied, or overwhelmed. I view therapy as a collaborative and active process, with the aims of better understanding one's distress and interpersonal difficulties, and improving one's quality of life. I am committed to helping my clients live more meaningful and authentic lives. I am skilled in the use of empirically supported treatments for psychological problems and I employ these strategies flexibly, with the goal of tailoring each client's treatment to his/her/their individual concerns and unique history. I received my Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and I completed my clinical training at the Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School. I've also completed two post-graduate fellowships in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I consider myself a generalist, with particular expertise in young adult mental health. In addition to my private practice, I am a faculty member in the clinical psychology doctoral program at William James College. I served as the Clinical Training Director at the MIT Student Counseling Service for over a decade, and I also have supervised psychiatry residents through the Harvard Medical School Longwood Psychiatry Program. NOTE: I offer sessions via telehealth, and will begin to offer in-person appointments this summer.
My approach to therapy is highly warm and collaborative. I tailor evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, ACT-informed) that align with my patients expressed personal goals, unique experiences, background/culture, and spiritual beliefs. I have specialty training in behavioral medicine, and hold a philosophy of care grounded in the reciprocal mind/body connection. I have particular specialty in treating physical health conditions through psychological interventions including chronic pain and medically unexplained physical symptoms; however, I support clients with an array of other presenting concerns (Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Stress, Eating. Disorders).

If you are a college student, parent or provider looking for a therapist for yourself, or your child/client, to help better manage anxiety around challenging life transitions, stress, or college life, please feel free to reach out. I use cognitive behavioral and relational approaches to help clients, feel calmer, more relaxed and better able to handle stressors.
I help people navigate life transitions (chosen or unchosen), grief/loss, unresolved trauma, family dysfunction and more. Everyone, at least once in their life, finds themselves struggling with life events that feel insurmountable or with emotions that feel outside of their control. I believe that therapy can help with that and bring out your own resilience and capacity to learn. My guiding principle is to provide an open and accepting environment where people can explore their personal experiences and reinforce their well-being. I view therapy as a collaborative process and use acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to emphasize mindfulness and self-awareness. Working together, we can identify barriers to success, maladaptive responses and strategies to help you find the change you're looking for. I enjoy working with a diverse and multicultural population of clientele. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
I specialize in working with people presenting with mood and anxiety disorders seeking symptom reduction and healthy coping skills and also insight into their mental health challenges.I also work with people of all ages on the Autism Spectrum as well as their families.
