Going to a new therapist can be a bit stressful; what will they be like, will they understand me or really be able to help? I often get college students who have tried therapy before and it just didn't work, they do well with me. I use CBT; cognitive behavioral therapy style, give open and honest feedback (don't sit and nod) and have a sense of humor. Graduated from Northeastern, I have been doing this awhile and have some ways of problem solving and really helping. We celebrate your wins and support what you need to be successful. I am always thankful to be invited into your lives to help. This is your journey.
Freedom from emotional hijack is found in noticing, naming, and knowing. This can be the gift of psychotherapy. Congratulations on looking for a therapist and trying to figure out what will be best for you! It can seem like it requires endurance, when all you’re trying to do is get your mental health needs met. The good news is there are lots and lots of great therapy practices! And a practice or a therapist that’s a great fit for one person, doesn’t mean that it is for you! All that matters is what works for you. Whether you feel nervous, doubtful, unsure, excited, and/or anything else, let’s chat, when/if you’re ready. Just because we talk, doesn’t mean you have to start therapy!
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of clinical experiences working with young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and trauma. I work with adults of all ages, but particularly enjoy working with college and graduate students. I look forward to hearing from you!
I provide individual mental health treatment services to adults experiencing emotional distress due to relationships, parenting, life stressors, and women's health concerns. I also work with people experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma and adjustment disorder, as well as the sober curious. I offer SPACE Treatment which stands for Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions. It is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems. I practice social work from a generalist approach, utilizing different treatment modalities based on the clients strengths and needs, including elements of person-centered therapy, A.R.C., mindfulness, collaborative problem solving, feelings management through coping skills, and dialectical behavioral therapy. In addition to private practice, I have experience working in schools, hospitals and day treatment. My goal is to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients can learn and reflect in order to create lasting change and stability. If you are ready to talk about what is going on, I am here to listen. Please reach out!

You're not alone—and you don't have to figure it all out by yourself. Reaching out for help can be one of the hardest and bravest decisions we make. If you’re here, it likely means something in your life isn’t working the way you’d like—and that awareness is an important first step. I want you to know I see the courage it takes to even start looking for a therapist. I work with folks facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and major life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by day-to-day stress, stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts, or navigating a significant change in your life, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can explore what’s going on and find ways forward that feel right for you. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in practical tools that you can take with you outside of therapy. I tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs and pace. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you reach out. If you're ready to take that next step, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Whether it's your first time looking for a therapist or you're interested in a new perspective, I welcome you to my practice. Tired of briefly feeling a little better after talking to your therapist each week, while not really making any sustained progress? Feeling like you two don't really have (or haven’t even discussed) a plan to address what brought you in for therapy? If you answered “yes,” to either question, you unfortunately are not alone. From day one, a key part of treatment at T.O.P.+ Behavioral Health is developing a collaborative plan incorporating your goals and strengths. My therapy approach is warm and validating, while teaching you evidence-based tools to increase awareness of what’s keeping you stuck and to make changes to get unstuck and live more aligned with what is important to you. I offer both specialized and more general individual therapy services. As an expert in exposure and response prevention (ERP) and habit reversal training, I am proud to offer the first-line and gold-standard treatments for OCD and tic disorders respectively. In addition, I am an expert in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure therapy for panic disorder, social anxiety, phobias, and generalized anxiety disorder. Other specialty offerings include CBT for depression, adult ADHD, insomnia, and binge eating disorder. A significant portion of my practice also involves working with college students experiencing normal, but difficult, issues that often show up during college years and transitions, such as test anxiety, difficulties making or navigating friendships, trouble concentrating, self-esteem or identity issues, or relationship difficulties. In addition to the standard individual therapy services described above, T.O.P. + also proudly offers intensive therapy services for OCD (i.e., ERP), Tourette’s & Tic Disorders (i.e., HRT), Panic Disorder/Agoraphobia (i.e., CBT) and Specific Phobia (i.e., CBT). Our Accelerated ERP, HRT, and CBT Programs consist of longer sessions (e.g., two to four hours per session) compared with a standard 50-minute session. In addition, most Accelerated Programs meet more frequently (e.g., three to five times per week) compared with the standard once-weekly therapy session, allowing one to finish a dose of treatment in one to three weeks. Accelerated program sessions can take place in-office, via telehealth, in the community, or through a combination of these settings. Our Accelerated Programs are great 1) for those with severe symptoms for which meeting once weekly might not be adequate to manage concerns; 2) for individuals wanting to finish a dose of treatment in a significantly shorter period of time (i.e., Great for Winter or Spring Break); 3) in many instances to help create momentum, achieve symptom improvement and reach therapy goals more quickly; 4) save money by receiving a discount compared with T.O.P. +’s hourly rates for standard individual therapy. Contact Dr. Bowe to learn more about specific offerings and pricing of Accelerated Programs. I do not currently accept insurance for standard individual therapy or for any of the Accelerated Programs. For standard individual therapy, however, I offer a $50/session discount for in-person appointments at my downtown Northampton office which has ample free parking and is accessible by public transportation. An additional $10/session discount is offered by payment by cash/check for standard individual therapy appointments. These two discounts do not apply to Accelerated Programs. As noted above, however, there is a separate discounted hourly rate for Accelerated Programs which ends up being less than the hourly rate for standard individual therapy even after in-office and cash/check-payment discounts are taken into account. Please also be aware that many insurances also offer out-of-network benefits, and may reimburse some of your expenses for standard individual therapy sessions when you submit paperwork which I can provide you with. For a free 15- to 30-minute initial consultation, please call or email me to learn more about how I might be able to help you.
Eating disorders leave us feeling out of control, insecure, and unfulfilled. You may be fed up with constant restriction, over eating, or both; feeling disconnected and self-conscious about your body; or overwhelmed with strong feelings and unsure of how to manage them. You might not even remember a time when it didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to heal your relationship with food. You’re ready to feel better in your own skin. Most of all, you’re ready to feel empowered and confident to take control of your life. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who treats the whole person, not just the eating disorder. Sessions with me are comfortable and interactive. Together, we increase mindfulness of the root cause of the eating disorder, assess your personal values and goals, and help you find fulfillment in the life you want to live. And we always go at your pace. As an experienced eating disorder therapist, I believe that everyone has the inner wisdom they need to heal. I can help you access it. You don’t have to continue living with the eating disorder, and you don’t have to do it alone. Call me today for a free consultation. I can’t wait to hear from you.

Hi, I’m Andres De Leon, LICSW, founder of Atlas Behavioral Wellness. I provide compassionate, culturally responsive therapy for young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, and the impact of complex life experiences. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinician with experience across multiple levels of care, I take an integrative and collaborative approach to treatment. My work combines evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT-informed interventions, behavioral activation, supportive therapy, and strengths-based care while also recognizing the importance of physical health, social stressors, and overall wellness. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or simply looking for support and personal growth, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and build meaningful change. Atlas Behavioral Wellness offers a holistic and person-centered approach to care, with services available virtually and in-person in Massachusetts, and telehealth services in Connecticut.
You’re eager to come home to yourself, and grow roots there - no matter what life throws your way. Life can be both messy and beautiful, and sometimes in the drama we lose connection with the inner wisdom that helps us navigate the changing seasons. We might feel far from ourselves, longing for confidence, peace, and contentment. This is your invitation to rediscover yourself—to cultivate the joy, creativity, and inner wisdom that may have felt out of reach. Together, we’ll create a space that feels alive, compassionate, and safe for your whole self to unfold. I integrate expressive arts therapy, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and attachment-based approaches to help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom and your innate creative spark. Through movement, art, reflection, and presence, we’ll explore what it means to trust yourself again—to feel more grounded, open, and authentically you. I work with people who want to feel more rooted and confident in themselves—whether you're discovering who you are in new ways or moving through an important life change. Many of the folks I support are navigating transitions like entering young adulthood/quarterlife, shifting in midlife, or facing the complexities of major illness, grief, and end-of-life caregiving. I also walk with people exploring post-traumatic growth, reconnecting with creativity, or seeking a whole-person approach to wellbeing. Often, I simply meet people in that tender place of feeling tired and ready for something new. My style is collaborative, warm, and curious. I believe healing can include laughter, play, and moments of wonder alongside deep, authentic emotional work. As you strengthen self-compassion and your capacity for joy, you can begin to experience greater ease in your relationships and a more vibrant connection with life itself. Available via telehealth for folks in NH & MA
