I've had the privilege of walking alongside clients in their healing journeys and have found that, for many whose trust (in others and in themselves) has been shaken, finally feeling heard and understood serves as a powerful corrective experience. I believe that these experiences are crucial in facilitating personal growth and change. I recognize that all clients have unique strengths, and I build upon these to create a working alliance that is non-judgmental, empowerment-based, and client-focused. Many feel alienated not only in their struggles but in their pursuit of wellbeing, especially when they have not received a great deal of support in making the changes they desire. I am honored to provide such support and join clients on their paths toward healing. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults in the treatment of trauma, complex PTSD, attachment, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in and often utilize trauma-focused interventions including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Forward-Facing Trauma Therapy (FFTT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I also frequently employ solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and emotional regulation strategies in my practice, depending on each client’s unique needs.
I am so honored you found yourself here. I believe therapy works best when you feel deeply understood—not analyzed or rushed. Before I’m a therapist, I’m a human who values gentleness, curiosity, and compassion. It’s truly a privilege to sit with folks as they share their stories, their pain, and hopes for something different. I have a special passion for working with neurodivergent (or “neurospicy”) humans and those whose nervous systems have been shaped by trauma. Therapy with me moves at a pace that honors your body, your boundaries, and your unique way of being in the world. There’s no pressure to perform or “fix” yourself. My work is grounded in experiential and somatic approaches, meaning we don’t just talk about what’s happening—we gently explore how your experiences live in your body, emotions, and relationships. This can be especially powerful for healing complex trauma, navigating chronic pain and reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have learned to stay guarded. If you desire to connect with a therapist that cultivates a safe space for you to explore healing without judgement and approaches your experiences with curiosity and empathy I invite you to this space. As a fellow neurodivergent, chronically ill, queer woman - I understand how exhausting life can be. Let us explore what living authentically means for you.

We can manage your prescription and medications. Our Care Philosophy: I believe the best care comes from building a strong partnership with my patients. I take time to listen closely to each person’s story, value their input, and work with them to create a treatment plan that fits their goals and lifestyle. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on empowering patients to take an active role in their mental health. I explain treatment options clearly, answer questions in plain language, and encourage open communication so patients feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. I also believe in meeting patients where they are—whether that means adjusting care to match their pace or providing extra education and resources to help them feel confident. Above all, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a safe and respectful environment where patients feel heard, understood, and supported on their journey toward healing and wellness.

Life is full of challenges, which I view as opportunities for growth and learning. I've worked with college students on MSU's campus for nearly 10 years which has given me a depth of understanding to the unique challenges you face. I join alongside clients who are facing a wide range of issues including: navigating life transitions, interpersonal relationship conflicts, academic or professional challenges, adjusting to changes at home or in the family structure, exposure to abuse or neglect, establishing boundaries in relationships, healing from past trauma, and navigating grief and loss. We are all on our own journeys and I welcome the opportunity to join you on yours. Our work together will be interactive and reflective, with a healthy mix of challenge and humor. We will collaborate to find the approach that best meets your needs, and your feedback and input is an essential part of the process. I incorporate a trauma-informed lens to my work and seek to understand how past experiences have shaped our current disposition and automatic responses. I am committed to providing treatment that is anti-racist, culturally responsive and affirming. My practice is client-centered and strengths-based. I utilize a warm, accepting and compassionate approach.
