Navigating the transition to college and early adulthood can be exciting, but it can also be incredibly stressful and overwhelming. Are you struggling to manage the pressures of academics, relationships, or being away from home? Do you find yourself constantly worrying, feeling down, or having difficulty sleeping? Are you experiencing conflict with parents, peers, or even professors? Are you questioning whether college is the right path for you, or if you're pursuing it due to external pressure? Everyone experiences some level of stress during this time, but if these feelings are persistent and impacting your daily life, or causing significant relationship strain, it might be helpful to talk to someone. Counseling provides a safe space to explore these challenges, develop coping strategies, and clarify your own goals and values. Our virtual sessions offer the flexibility to meet before, between, or after classes, making it easier than ever to prioritize your mental well-being as you navigate this new chapter. I enjoy working with a variety of adult populations including LGBTQIA+, first responders, active and retired military members, their families, and dependents. I've assisted clients through their journey with grief, PTSD, relationship stresses, depression, and mood disorders for the past 5 years. If you are struggling with intrusive thoughts, depression, isolation, or anxiety I am happy to assist you in uncovering the source of these concerns and work with you toward getting back to a more positive place in your life.
With me, you’ll find a supportive space that recognizes life doesn’t always go as planned. Goals can shift—not as a reflection of your effort or worth, but often because of the realities life brings. Together, we’ll regularly revisit and adjust your goals to ensure they stay aligned with your needs and enhance your quality of life, even as circumstances change. I currently serve the profession as a counselor educator and supervisor while maintaining a small private practice, Rhythms of Hope, LLC. I also serve my community as a licensed clinician, an approved and licensed clinical supervisor, a board certified telemental health provider, and a nationally credentialed counselor. My greatest joy as a counselor is being able to support clients in becoming empowered to navigate shifting tides of their life while accounting for the reality of the unknown. I desire to not only enhance access to mental health support but also destigmatize mental health while enhancing access to wellness. Hi, I'm Dani, and I'm so happy you're here! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, and I am the owner + founder of New Perspectives Mental Health Serices, PLLC. My hope is that if you are reading this, you are ready to take the next step in your mental health journey. Anxiety shows up differently for everyone. Maybe you just started college and feel lost and overwhelmed or have just moved to a new city with no support system in place. You could be trying to decide what career will be the best fit, or maybe you feel confused after realizing that you don't want to continue in the career you chose several years ago. Oftentimes in early adulthood, relationships can also bring anxiety whether they be with friends, family, or romantic partners. Do you want to learn how to be your most authentic self while also managing life's stressors? Then I want to help! Although I specialize in working with clients ages 18-30, everyone is welcome to reach out to connect. Our work will be collaborative. My approach is integrative, but I lean heavily towards cognitive behavioral therapy. This means that we will spend a great deal of our time focusing on how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect. We will also work together to build new coping skills so that you are able to continue the work outside of the therapy "room." I strongly believe that every person's needs are different, and I am prepared to meet you where you are.
I’m Chesilin Suek, PMHNP, and I’m dedicated to helping adults and teens who feel overwhelmed by anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that dims their spark, ADHD that makes life feel like constant catch-up, or OCD that traps them in exhausting cycles. Together, we create space for healing, clarity, and forward momentum. I offer a supportive, judgment-free environment where you’re met with understanding, encouragement, and respect every step of the way. My approach focuses on treating the whole person—not just symptoms. While I provide evidence-based medication support when appropriate, I also look at sleep, stress, relationships, lifestyle, and the deeper patterns that influence how you feel and function day to day. Care is never one-size-fits-all; we work collaboratively to create a plan that aligns with your goals, values, and real life. You are not broken, weak, or a burden—you’re human, doing your best in a world that can feel overwhelming. You deserve to feel better, not just get by. You deserve hope, energy, and something to look forward to. You don’t have to keep surviving on autopilot. Together, we’ll untangle what’s holding you back and work toward the life you’ve been wanting and deserve.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, or life changes, I’m here to help you navigate those challenges in a safe, non-judgmental space. I'm neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC affirming. Together, we can explore your emotions and develop strategies to manage stress and move forward with confidence. My goal is to support you in your journey of personal growth, healing, and empowerment, so you can become more resilient and your best self. It's a big step to seek out support to begin your healing journey, but you don't have to navigate it alone. I invite you to reach out and begin your journey to create a positive change.

I can help address needs of clients struggling with anxiety, depression, stress disorder, OCD, mood swings or psychotic symptoms. I have been seeing clients via Telehealth and all my clients like the comfort and flexibility of Telehealth for medication management. I am only running a Tele health based platform at this time and there are no in person visits. I have medical licence for states of Massachusetts and North Carolina.

All of us face times when life brings more than we can manage alone. Asking for help—even when asking is hard—is the first step toward a different experience. I have faced my own struggles, and I find deep joy and fulfillment in walking with others on their journeys toward healing, connection, and reawakened hope. As a mental health therapist, I support my clients to grow and thrive, to move toward what wellness means to them, and to deepen their connections both to others and to their own strengths and resources. Above all, I prioritize building a safe therapist-client relationship in which clients feel seen, respected, empowered, and welcomed as their full and authentic selves. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and experiential. In our counseling sessions, we will work together collaboratively to identify your goals for therapy and agree on strategies to move toward them. We may explore your thoughts, beliefs, and stories, your emotions, your body’s wisdom, and your creativity during our time together. We won’t just talk about what’s wrong—we’ll actively practice ways of making it better. Throughout it all, we’ll make sure our work together feels safe, supportive, and truly helpful to you. Whether you are facing the challenges of everyday life, navigating change and uncertainty, healing from deeper traumas and self-protective patterns, or seeking greater safety and security within relationships, I would be honored to support you.
