I’m passionate about and dedicated to helping people achieve meaningful and sustainable changes that align with their core values and aspirations. I deeply enjoy working with adolescents, college students, and young adults. I have a lot of experience supporting the LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse communities. I believe therapy is most successful when we find the path that truly supports the growth you’re seeking. In our work together, we will find an approach that fits your unique needs, drawing from my experience with a range of therapeutic orientations, including trauma-informed therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, and relational approaches. When I’m not working, I enjoy skiing, traveling, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. I also love curling up with a good book, watching a great movie or TV show, and most of all, I cherish spending time with friends and loved ones. Modern Outlook LLC owned by Demetrio Sanchez, LCSW, founded in 2017, has teamed up with Restore Therapy LLC to provide in-person and virtual mental health and performance coaching to local athletes in the Pacific Northwest and nationally. Driven out of their own experiences of being collegiate athletes and then later acquiring training as mental health professionals, it became obvious that there was a need for mental health support specific to athletes. The partnership aims to meet that need. Modern Outlook has developed the niche of performance-focused mental health services over the course of serving a range of competitive athletes in every sport.
Welcome, I’m glad you’re here! Starting therapy or finding a new therapist is a courageous step. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, a big life transition, questions of identity or the deep waves of grief I offer a compassionate space where you can feel seen and heard. I’ve supported many clients moving through anxiety, relationship issues with partners and family members and have supported young people moving through life stages.
We all experience times in our lives when we feel stuck, disconnected, or out of balance. I strive to create an environment where couples, individuals, and families feel supported and heard. I invite you to deepen your understanding of yourself and your relationships through my experiential, attachment-based approach.
Hello and welcome to Family Heart Counseling. I offer a wide variety of approaches to help you address stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relational dynamics between you, your family, or your partner(s). I hold certifications in working with autism, emotion focused individual therapy, and in sex-informed couples therapy. I also hold a basic certification in EMDR and an advanced certification in hypnotherapy to help you process trauma. I am self-studied in Internal Family Systems, having participated in their six month circle program, and in Gottman method of couple counseling. In addition, I bring a philosophical and spiritual perspective to my practice, drawing on existentialism, the work of Carl Jung, Arnold Mindell, Trish Blain's Four Forces, and the wisdoms found in the animate world of nature. Finally, social justice informs my work as it relates to gender identity and exploration, having supported the transgender/queer community for the past five years. While I may be well-studied, my main focus is holding a safe enough space for you and what you need in order to more deeply explore yourself as a human in this world. I will accompany you on that journey.
Some of my specialty areas include working with clients who have experienced attachment trauma in their families of origin and have struggled with codependency or self-worth wounds. I frequently work with queer clients and with those who are questioning or exploring meaning and purpose relative to their larger societal or spiritual life, particularly those who find themselves outside the mainstream in their sexuality, beliefs, or social values. I provide assistance with communications, boundary-setting and interpersonal difficulties and focus on depth and narrative work with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy framing, including present-moment and somatic emphasis of emotional experience.
We all have a deep need for connection. This connection is often challenged and disrupted by experiences throughout our lives. This leads us all to experience some level of disconnect. This can lead to anxiety, depression, poor coping skills, substance use, and many other dis-eases. The good news is that we all have the potential to reconnect with our authentic self and heal! My approach to therapy and healing involves reconnection with our true selves, our body, and the present moment through compassionate listening, non-judgement and curiosity. For over 20 years, I have been providing therapy, assessment, and crisis services to our community. I believe in relationship and proven therapies to guide healing, well-being, greater insight, and confidence in your ability to grow and change. I approach this through appreciating your experience, seeing your strengths, and keeping your front and center in the process. The single most important thing that I have learned in my career is that we all have limitless potential to heal and recover. I deeply believe in your capacity to do so! This capacity already resides within you and you can reconnect with your authentic self to live your best life. I would be honored to embark on this journey with you.
Hi there! My vision of successful therapy is that you feel at home in yourself and maintain that center as you engage with the world around you. You will experience more ease, compassion, connection, balance, expansiveness, and a clarity about who you are and where you stand in relation to the experiences that brought you to therapy to begin with. Your issues may include not feeling like yourself, feeling stuck, grieving a loss, feeling flat, numb, or disconnected, sensing that something is missing or off, struggling with identity or life transitions, being in need of support in parenting, or just sensing that this is important somehow. Our work will bring you back to your center, wholeness, and new possibilities by providing corrective and missing experiences, acceptance, and connection through mindful, experiential, supportive and body-based therapies. The relationship between a therapist and client is the foundation of transformation and I invite inquiries to see if we could be a good fit for one another.

Do you overthink things or ever feel burnt out? What about after an issue happens, do you fixate on it, obsess over it, or think about the worst possible outcomes? How difficult is it to concentrate and stay focused on what needs to get done? What about your patience, has it run thin enough that you’re finding yourself more easily annoyed or frustrated by things? Managing anxiety is no easy feat, especially when anxiety symptoms can show up in so many different ways. How do you work through anxiety? Do you try not to think about it? When faced with anxiety symptoms, the tendency to avoid, control, or suppress is automatic, as these are the coping strategies that make the most sense. After all, why would you want to feel frustrated or worried. Although these forms of coping may work, they are often only effective for a short while—I’d venture to say you’ve already discovered this. You may have also noticed these forms of coping have created additional problems, such as poor sleep quality, social isolation, performance issues at work or school, or excessive use of social media—the list goes on. With an effective, evidence-based approach to managing anxiety, you’ll feel more at ease and be better able to work through the obstacles of life—paving a path for you to achieve your goals.

My work is guided by the belief that mental health care should be compassionate, collaborative, and personalized. With a background in community mental health and primary care behavioral health, I offer an integrative, culturally responsive, and values-based approach to therapy. I believe therapy is most effective when it goes beyond symptoms—when we explore your values, goals, and passions together. Through this lens, we co-create a foundation rooted in curiosity, connection, and emotional safety, opening space for healing and growth. I’ve had the privilege of expanding gender-affirming care at a community health system in Seattle and helped develop a behavioral health department embedded within a community center—where I facilitated programming focused on emotional wellness and connection. These experiences have shaped my commitment to making therapy accessible, affirming, and grounded in real-world community values. My value of community and connection continues to be nourished at Aspire Psychology.

Hi, I’m Katharine Frissora, a doctorally prepared integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner. I blend traditional psychiatric care with holistic approaches to support mental health in a more whole-person way. I also have a background in art therapy, which shapes how I think about creativity, self-expression, and their role in healing. I work best with people who want to be active participants in their mental health care and are curious about looking beyond symptoms alone. Whether you’re going through a life transition, feeling stuck, or wanting a deeper understanding of what’s driving your challenges, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan that fits you. My goal is to help you address the root causes impacting your well-being and support sustainable, meaningful change.
