College can be exciting—but it can also feel overwhelming. Adjusting to a new environment, navigating friendships, balancing classes, work, and social life—it’s a lot to manage. Being away from family or support systems can bring up feelings of loneliness, stress, or sadness that are hard to handle on your own. Therapy can help. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you and find real, sustainable ways to manage the stress, anxiety, or challenges you're facing. You’ll gain tools to cope with the pressures of student life, uncover what’s really behind your struggles, and start to feel more grounded and confident. This is your space to talk openly, be your full self, and feel heard—without judgment. Whether you're feeling stuck, stressed, or just need someone to talk to, support is here for you.

Since you’re here, you probably have questions that you are looking to answer, need guidance and support around your struggles and concerns, desire a safe space for exploration and development, or maybe a combination of these. So, how can I help? I am equipped to conduct psychological assessment to promote improved self-understanding and to help build a plan for support across life. My therapeutic approach is evidence-based and focuses on the whole person. I also offer a faith-sensitive approach for those who wish to incorporate faith and spirituality into their individual process. Whether you come seeking an evaluation or therapeutic support, I look forward to connecting with you! *Please note: Fees vary depending on therapy vs assessment. I also work between two offices. I’m Heather Wyatte. I help individuals, couples, and families learn to manage conflict and life’s stressors by better understanding each others’ needs. Life can feel hard if you are experiencing personal challenges, addictions, complicated issues, or adjusting to new life stages or changes. Managing relationships and effectively communicating with partners or family members can feel even harder during those times. But don’t fret, it can be easier to talk about the hard things when there is a mediator present and you are given tools to help. That is what Whole Family Therapy specializes in.
Therapy is an invitation to identify and gently question beliefs and perceived obstacles that stand in the way of our wellness, happiness and living our lives fully. We base our work together on you- what you see happening in your life, what you want to be different, your strengths, your goals and bigger life plans. Together we identify ways to make positive small shifts to clarify and work toward obtaining your best future. We believe in positive psychology interventions that are solution focused and strength based. We believe your mind is the most powerful resource. We can help you to learn how to use it to make powerful, lasting change.

Our journey together would work toward wellness and healing in a trusting, safe, and secure relationship. I integrate a variety of therapies to best suit my clients' needs, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, trauma-focused therapies, and traditional talk psychotherapy. I have a certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, as well as training in Internal Family Systems therapy. I am dedicated to helping my clients heal from past and current traumas through the power of a trusting, secure therapeutic relationship where they can discover and know their inner strengths.
YOU are the expert on yourself. I have had training and life experiences, but I believe that you hold within yourself the power to make the changes that you want to see happen in your life, but nobody has ever shown you that power before. I believe in helping you discover and awaken that power through whatever means you feel comfortable, and sometimes UNcomfortable! I believe in the uniqueness of every individual and work to find that in every person I meet through my work, my travels and everyday trips to the grocery store or walks in the neighborhood with my dog! I have had my own struggles with depression and anxiety in the past, and was a bit of an antisocial teen...I have seen it all, so you can feel safe talking with me about ANYTHING and I won't make you feel judged:)

If you need mental health support, you shouldn’t have to worry about your therapist judging you or making you feel uncomfortable. You are the expert in who you are, and I do my best to learn from my clients and provide a safe space to address whatever you’re going through. I frequently use cognitive behavioral, insight oriented, and emotions focused interventions within session. I’m also trained and certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is frequently used to address trauma but is also helpful in reducing the distress experienced around any negative thought and replacing it with a healthier/adaptive thought. I appreciate that I can’t be a good fit for everyone, so I welcome consultation calls to explore if my approach to counseling would be supportive to what you’re looking for within therapy.
Finding your footing in college isn't always easy, especially when relationships, identity, family and friendship dynamics, or mental health start to feel overwhelming. At Praxis Relationship Therapy, I work with college and graduate students, and young adults who want to better understand themselves and build healthier, more secure relationships. I specialize in relationship concerns (dating, breakups, communication, intimacy), adult child-parent relationship dynamics including adult children of emotionally immature parents, adult ADHD, and major life transitions like adjusting to college or navigating independence. Whether you're feeling stuck in patterns, struggling to connect, ot trying to make sense of your emotions and thoughts, therapy can be a space to slow down and figure things out, with support and structure. As a Turkish-American therapist who came to the U.S. as an international student in 2016, I deeply understand the challenges of cultural adjustment, identity, and belonging. I offer therapy in both English and Turkish, and strive to create an inclusive, culturally responsive space where all backgrounds and identities are welcomed and respected. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in research. At Praxis Relationship Therapy, we don't just talk about your relationships, we work on them!
I have immediate openings for adults and adolescents. Private pay only and I offer flexible scale pricing for those who wish to use it. With all the muddiness around us in the world and our daily lives, it's easy to become stuck in the quagmire and lose sight of our values. Counseling offers a chance to look introspectively at what is truly important so we can discover ways to center those values in our day to day lives. My goal is to build relationships with clients that allow for exploration and deeper understanding of how to live your best life.
Therapy is an individual process, each session is it's own experience. I feel that you guide this process and I hope to guide you on your journey into understanding yourself and your experience.
Hi, I’m Kiara, I’m the therapist behind Lunar Counseling! I work with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, and trauma. Too many people are stuck in a cycle of distress without truly resolving anything. This leaves many feeling detached, numb, and uncertain about their future. I believe most mental health challenges can be addressed through effective therapy and by developing healthy coping skills. BUT, that can be so hard to do on your own. I have found for many individuals, having a therapist to talk through issues can be a gamechanger for their mental health. So, I use my seven years of therapy experience to guide people just like you as you work through your mental health challenges and regain control of your life. To get started, your next step is to schedule a 15-min phone consultation to see if we are a good fit. You don’t have to let things get worse or stay feeling numb and overwhelmed. I can help guide you as you overcome your challenges and get back to feeling like yourself again.
