I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing therapy in a supportive and queer-friendly environment. I specialize in work with clients with prenatal and postpartum depression, grief, life changes, mood disorders, and substance use. I have professional experience, prior to private practice, working with young adults on an inpatient psychiatric unit and ante/postpartum parents in a hospital setting. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, drawing on mindfulness, humor, the mind-body connection, and elements of CBT and DBT, to help clients build insight and tools for their every day lives. The therapist-client relationship is an important aspect of the therapeutic dynamic in my work and I want to encourage an environment where a patient is able to speak openly and freely.

Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or not like yourself. You might notice overthinking, anxiety, low motivation, or feeling easily triggered, even when you’re trying your best to keep up with school and life. Sometimes these patterns are connected to past experiences that haven’t been fully processed. I specialize in working with college students using EMDR, mindfulness, and creative approaches to help you move through stress and unresolved experiences in a deeper, more lasting way. Rather than just managing symptoms, we’ll work together to understand what’s underneath them and help your mind and body process what’s been holding you back. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. Therapy is active and supportive, helping you feel more grounded, more in control, and better able to navigate school, relationships, and daily life with greater ease and confidence.

I have worked in various settings with various populations; no need to be embarrassed, ashamed, or worried of anything you might share. I'm here with you through it all and will provide you with understanding, reassurance, and encouragement. My work with a wide range of clients, and my personal struggle with chronic health issues, gives me a special understanding for others who may be experiencing loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, fear, adjustment issues, and relationship challenges. I use a person-centered approach to counseling, with techniques drawn from CBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and existential theory. In listening to your story and gaining an understanding of your goals and values, I can help you problem-solve and create unique ways to help you navigate life’s challenges. Hello! I'm Erika (they/them/theirs), and I am passionate about helping adults with ADHD move from feeling stuck, ashamed, and discouraged, to curious and engaged with life. I use a combination of Internal Family Systems (IFS), ADHD Coaching, and embodied creative practices (rooted in my training as a Dance/Movement Therapist), based on the needs of each client. These tools help us to untangle deeply rooted patterns, and build systems that you enjoy and that help you succeed. Additionally, I love supporting people who are neurodivergent and exploring or struggling with their gender identity or sexuality.
