I have a master's degree in family psychology and I am a licensed professional counselor supervisor in the state of Texas. I have had experience working with families, children, teens and adults individually in a variety of settings; community mental health, schools and home-based treatment for over 17 years. I have the most experience working with depression, anxiety, family/relationship conflicts, parenting issues, life transitions, and trauma/abuse. I also have experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mild autism. I use a person-centered and integrative approach in treatment. This means I begin where you are and tailor the treatment approach to your needs while being sensitive to how your individual cultural identities and lifestyle choices impact your experience. I primarily use evidence based techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and solution-focused counseling. I would describe my style as warm and supportive, and I am ready to help you tackle your struggle head-on. LET’S BE HONEST: Existing between worlds is exhausting. Co-existing in multiple worlds and cultures doesn’t come with a roadmap. The competing demands and expectations leave you feeling tugged in opposing directions, and you’re left with the feeling that no matter how hard you try, you’ll never be enough for anyone. Even though there are many people in your life, it feels like nobody from any ‘side’ really gets you, and you’re not sure where you truly belong. You’re tired of facing microaggressions when you’re out and about and obstacles to advancing at work. All this is impacting your relationship, where you’re struggling to communicate and feel a sense of togetherness across the divides.
Thank you for being open to connect. I look forward to supporting you on your journey. My style is open and warm. I believe in taking a solution oriented approach for life’s challenges. I have over five years of experience in individual therapy. If you find yourself lost or confused on where to start let’s start together!

At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, we work best with college students who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertain—even if everything looks “fine” on the outside. Many of the students we support are balancing classes, work, family expectations, relationships, and the pressure to figure out their future, all at the same time. You may be experiencing constant stress, anxiety that makes it hard to focus, low confidence, or feeling stuck in your own head. Some students come to us feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure of who they are becoming. Others are navigating depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, or major life transitions. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and support is available. Our practice is built on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where students can openly talk about what they’re going through without feeling rushed, labeled, or misunderstood. We focus on meeting you where you are and tailoring care to your individual needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, counseling is a collaborative process. We believe progress happens best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their growth. Our clinicians work alongside students to build practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and strengthen confidence in both academic and personal areas of life. Using a client-centered and strengths-based approach, we help students identify their values, recognize their strengths, and develop tools to manage stress, anxiety, mood challenges, and relationship concerns. Our goal is not just to help you get through college, but to support you in building skills and self-understanding that will serve you well beyond it.
You’ve always been the one who holds it together. The friend everyone leans on, the one who keeps the peace, even when you're falling apart inside. You’re kind, thoughtful, and always thinking about how others feel—sometimes to the point of losing sight of what you need. Maybe you grew up in a home where speaking up was risky, or you were labeled as “too much.” Now, in college or early adulthood, you feel lost - constantly second-guessing yourself, unsure who you are outside of relationships or achievements. You want to feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life—but you’re not sure where to start.
We provide specialized trauma care. Most clinicians are bilingual and trained in EMDR.
My ideal client is someone who has experienced acute mental health challenges, or may be new in their therapeutic journey altogether, and is ready to move toward stability and growth. They may struggle with severe mood disorders, trauma, substance use, or daily life struggles, and feel discouraged by systems which have not met their needs. They want to understand themselves and their challenges better, build skills to improve self-sufficiency, and create a meaningful, prosperous life with sustainable supports in the community. I specialize in trauma-informed, ethical, and client-centered care grounded in inpatient mental health experience. I help clients develop insight, accountability, and practical skills to manage symptoms, strengthen resiliency, and transition successfully into community sustained living while prioritizing safety, dignity, and long-term stabilization. You do not have to navigate your healing journey alone. If you are ready to move forward and build hope for your future, I invite you to take the next step. Together, we can create a supportive, realistic path towards growth, empowerment, and lasting change.
Anyone else tired of all of these “unprecedented” events stressing out their already stressful life? How can someone NOT feel anxious while balancing news, work/school, social life, family, chores, relationships and self-care? Life can be so overwhelming! But I can help with that! I may not be able to take away some of the stressors; but I can certainly help find the tools you need to manage the burden. I provide a safe, empathic and accepting space for anyone working through these feelings. I specialize in helping women and teens find healing and inner strength in order to find fulfillment in life's challenges and triumphs.
