I work with people navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, boundary-setting, life transitions, and patterns that leave them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are overwhelmed by stress, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or difficult past experiences that continue to impact their daily lives. Together, we explore these patterns, build on existing strengths, and create meaningful change that supports greater balance, confidence, and well-being. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I utilize an integrative framework that considers the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, values, and relationships. I am also an EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapist and offer EMDR when it is clinically appropriate and aligned with your goals. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and finding the right therapist is important. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore challenges openly and move toward the changes that matter most to you. If my approach sounds like a good fit, I welcome you to reach out.
My passion lies in supporting people who may feel stuck, stagnant, or caught in repeating patterns, and who are ready to try something different. The journey forward isn’t always easy, but the support of a compassionate therapist can help you find your way. I strive to create a nurturing space where you can unpack your experiences, reflect deeply, and begin to explore, challenge, and redefine how you show up for yourself and in your life. I warmly welcome individuals of all identities, backgrounds, and orientations. My areas of expertise includes racial and cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and the challenges of navigating multicultural or bicultural worlds, or those living at the intersections of multiple identities. I practice from a social justice, multicultural, trauma informed, and anti-oppressive framework, ensuring that our work together is inclusive, affirming, and compassionate. I strive to create a space where all parts of you are seen, heard, and valued. A space that honors the depth, complexity, and richness of your lived experience. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, working through a major life transition, or are simply looking for extra support, you’ve taken an important first step by looking into therapy. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to help you navigate challenges, strengthen coping skills, and move towards greater well-being. You deserve care that meets you where you are, and I’m here to support you. As a mixed therapist, with White (Italian & Irish) and Indigenous (Mi'kmaq) ancestors, I know how hard it can be to find time for self growth and care while navigating oppressive systems. It can be even harder when we don't fit in a binary or see ourselves reflected in the spaces we live, work, or learn. I value cultivating a safe container for folks to bring all parts of themselves to, as I believe that it is in this space of truly relating as we are, that we may find the capacity for growth and change. I reserve a few sliding scale spots for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clients who are committed to therapy, but are experiencing cost as a barrier to care. If you would like to request a reduce rate slot, please contact me for details and availability.
The therapeutic relationship is the key to my approach. Together we will build strong therapeutic relationship through mutual trust and understanding. This creates a safe environment for self-exploration, growth and development. I believe that if we work collaboratively we can identify problems and personalize treatment direction. My goal is to help you cope with your daily struggles, improve resiliency and create lasting change. With the right skills, each individual has the capacity to accomplish their goals. I specialize in effective therapy for individuals who are suffering from depression, anxiety, difficulty maintaining healthy relationships, low self-esteem and assertiveness issues as well as survivors of trauma, and domestic violence.
Hi, I'm Lauren! I am a non-binary, queer AuDHD therapist practicing psychodynamic clinical social work in Massachusetts and Oregon. I also identify as white and mid-fat. My pronouns are she/they. In my practice, I specialize in working with adults who identify as, or are exploring whether they may be, LGBTQIA2S+ and/or neurodivergent, especially autistic and/or ADHD. In addition, I help clients work through issues related to depression, anxiety, and relational difficulties. Through an affirming and integrative approach, I provide a warm and supportive therapeutic environment for clients to explore their inner selves and make positive changes in their lives. My work with clients is collaborative, as together we delve into the reasons behind persistent challenges and unearth new aspects of their identities and experiences, ultimately making space for growth, healing, and flourishing. For neurodivergent clients, our sessions often involve working on strategies to improve executive functioning, which includes skills like task initiation, time management, organization, attention, and planning. My approach is aligned with the Health at Every Size (HAES) framework.
We all come into therapy for different reasons. Some people may have specific challenges they are looking to overcome, while others may just need to explore why they feel the way they do. Both in relationships and as individuals, often we first feel the barriers in front of us before we really understand where they are coming from. Challenges in my own life and the very complexities of identity itself have profoundly shaped my empathetic approach to life. I see therapy as a conversation, and I am deeply committed to maintaining an open dialogue with you. I also recognize that you are the expert on your own lived experiences. I am here to support you in your journey of resilience, empowerment, and self-discovery. I provide a space where you can feel safe exploring gender and sexual identities, overcoming the stigma of addiction, understanding the impact of discrimination, overcoming depression, anxiety, trauma and other intersecting issues. My approach to counseling is based on a holistic person-centered philosophy that emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. As a therapist, my primary goal is to empower you to take control of your journey toward change, providing a safe and collaborative space where we can work together.
I work best with young adults, especially those who self-identify as women or are exploring their gender identity/expression, navigating the early-adulthood years. You might be juggling academic or career decisions, feeling anxious or burnt out, experiencing changes in friendships or romantic relationships, and wondering what truly matters to you. In a warm, collaborative, and gender-affirming space, we’ll use tools from CBT, mindfulness, and self-compassion to help you build confidence, manage anxiety, and reconnect with your values so you can live more authentically and with less overwhelm. If this sounds like what you need, I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit.
Hi, I’m Jess and I am so glad you are here. Sometimes there are seasons in our lives where we feel stuck or lost, like we don’t measure up to the standards set around us. We may find ourselves struggling in our relationships, or even in old patterns of behavior we can’t seem to break. If you find yourself in this space today, I am here to help. I am honored to walk alongside clients as a compassionate listener and guide and believe in a strengths-based and collaborative approach to healing. In my work as a therapist, I utilize narrative therapy in order to assist clients in discovering how past and present experiences have shaped the story of their lives. I am also a HAES-aligned practitioner with years of experience in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders. I believe that we are wildly capable of healing and creating more true and beautiful stories for our lives- so let's get started.

You feel alone, prioritize the needs of others, and wonder if things will change, asking: "What am I protecting? Who am I trying to be? What do I want?" Relationships (breakups, separation, dating, divorce) can bring up anxiety, regret, fear and self-judgment. These effect the relationship we have with ourselves. Resentments, anger, and guilt - toward others and within ourselves make us feel disconnected and alone. As a therapist, my aim is to help you reconnect with your SELF. Everyone is different. Our expectations and ideals are influenced by family history, surrounding cultural expectations, and unique experiences. Our therapy sessions help you develop tools to define relationships you want, conquer anxiety, past regrets, self doubt, negative self-image, and slowly dispose of the negative loud inner-monologue (which comes up frequently, when you are trying to navigate your road ahead.) I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist using Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gottman therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) tools to develop a solid foundation of self - (via telehealth, online) in both Oregon and Washington State. Specialties: Individuals dealing with sleep issues/insomnia, difficulty with focus (ADHD); folks going through separation/divorce to develop purpose, motivation and intention; individuals in relationships cultivate/improve connection; single individuals build a sense of self (aligned with values) which can be applied toward dating and future relationships. __________________________________________ Interested in seeing if we connect? Welcome! I have been practicing as a Mental Health Counselor for nearly 10 years, and it continues to be a privilege to support individuals through life’s many challenges. As someone with lived experience as an ADHDer, I know what it can feel like to be misunderstood or to move through the world feeling different. This perspective deeply informs my work. I am passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals, as well as those navigating anxiety, complex trauma, and depression. My goal is to help you move toward a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and more at peace. Life comes with bumps and bruises, and it can sometimes feel incredibly lonely. I am here to meet you exactly where you are and offer a space where you can grow, heal, and reconnect with your inner sense of peace. I offer free 20-minute consultation calls so you can get a sense of who I am and whether I feel like the right fit for your needs. I work with folks struggling with depression, grief, anxiety, life transitions, and the countless other stressors life throws at us. My hope is to create a space where you can show up fully human—to laugh, cry, and talk about the hard stuff without fear of judgment. I invite you to bring yourself and all of the parts that come along with you. This is a privilege I do not take lightly and will honor as we walk through this journey together. If this resonates, I’d love to connect and see if working together feels right. My work is informed by systems-thinking and anti-oppressive frameworks, drawing from Narrative, Emotion-Focused, and Internal Family Systems approaches. I’m especially interested in how our relationships and identities shape who we are and who we’re becoming. I know finding a therapist can feel like a big step, and I believe connection really matters. I’m a relational therapist who values building a collaborative, compassionate, and supportive relationship. I see you as the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you reflect, explore, and grow.

Are there old patterns stuck on repeat in your relationship that you’ve tried to change but can’t seem to? Is relationship stress or anxiety in general getting in the way of your feeling satisfied or in flow with your life? Maybe you feel invisible or unappreciated. Perhaps you feel a sense of powerlessness or frustration due to your boundaries being overstepped. You may have even stopped trying due to repeated failures trying to "fix" what isn't working. The truth is every now and then we need support from someone who has the knowledge, training, and personal experience to help you with something like this. I help clients heal and learn from old relationship wounds and improve their relationship with themselves and others. I help people get to the heart of the matter and go beyond learning and implementing coping skills. In this way we can get to know what is creating barriers to joy, calm, and flow in your relationships and in your life. Please note that addition to qualifications listed within this profile, I am a certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician. Whether working through anxiety, contemplating/preparing for a breakup or moving on from a relationship, healing from the fallout of antagonistic relational stress and/or narcissistic abuse, strengthening your boundaries, or you're just wanting to give that critical inner voice the boot so that you simply feel better about you, I'm here to help. * I am contracted with Care Oregon and am able to work with Trillium Community Health of OHP via single case agreement.
