I am certified in Prepare and Enrich for couples and relationships, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certfied in DBT. My experience includes extensive work with school-aged populations, those with serious and persistent mental illness, dual diagnoses, couples, and addiction issues. Hi, I’m Logan, a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with nearly a decade of experience in healthcare, and the last two years specializing in psychiatric care. At UpWell, I’m committed to providing high-quality psychiatric care, medication management, and therapeutic services with a compassionate touch. My journey in mental health care is deeply personal. Having faced my own mental health challenges and supported loved ones through theirs, I understand firsthand the importance of empathy and understanding in treatment. This personal insight fuels my approach to care, especially for clients in the neuro-diverse community. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment for those who may have had negative experiences with healthcare in the past. My goal is to offer a unique, compassionate approach to mental health care that encourages and supports every individual on their path to wellness. Thank you for considering UpWell as a partner in your mental health journey. I look forward to the opportunity to work together.
As a therapist, I’m inspired by being a part of the growth and healing process. Personally and professionally, I value bringing more kindness, vulnerability, self-compassion and creativity to the world. I enjoy working with a large range of clients and I specialize in helping clients heal from depression and anxiety, improve their interpersonal skills and overcome unwanted habits. I focus on creating a therapeutic atmosphere where people can truly feel safe, grounded, and open to exploration. Working with me means we will explore evidence based approaches and techniques, in a flexible way with attention to your needs.
My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental and focused on creating a supportive, trusting connection with you. What I do in therapy is help you work with your emotions, instead of pushing them away, so you can be more grounded, confident and connected. I support people with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and ADHD. I tailor my approach to your unique needs by drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques. My past clients have described me as compassionate, grounding, and calming. It is my hope that you find a therapist who feels like a good fit too. If you feel ready for change, please reach out. I’d love to talk more about what you're looking for in therapy.
At Oregon Psychiatric Medicine, we make it easy to access mental health care from the comfort of your own home. Our psychiatrists are MDs or DOs, trained to maximize the benefits of medication and minimize any side effects. Our therapists will work with you to understand the challenges you face, define your goals for treatment, and recommend strategies to make positive changes in your life. We have convenient online scheduling, and appointments are easy to access from a laptop or smartphone. Our office hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, but providers may offer appointments outside of these hours.
I'm a provider with 16 years experience working with LGBTQIA+ adult clients. My work often involves supporting folks around gender, sexuality, and family of origin issues, among all the other things people seek therapy for. I am trained in two different types of trauma therapy (EMDR and Flash) that are less talk-therapy focused, for folks who need different ways to approach things.
If you find your mind racing uncontrollably with thoughts of worry or stress, feel lost when going through big life changes, or are struggling to find motivation to complete your goals, you don't have to go through it alone. I am an empathic listener who wants to support your growth and healing. I offer help with anxiety and depression, healing past trauma and have training in EMDR.
Any of us, from adults to very young children, can experience life challenges that require the caring support of other people. Sometimes we need help to navigate these challenges, and to heal, reorient, and move forward in our lives toward better health and wholeness. When the emotional support of friends and family is not enough, establishing a safe, collaborative relationship with a psychotherapist can be a valuable resource. I enjoy working with students who are ready to access support and guidance in order to address the social-emotional or mental health challenges that are holding them back; the changes and healing they are seeking in their relationships with parents, other family members, friends and/or partners; and clarification of needs, wants and life goals.
Hi, I've been in the field since 2001. I have a master's degree in Buddhist psychology and use mindfulness throughout my work. I have a passion for working with college students. I have specialized in ADHD, trauma, and substance use and work with identifying the underlying issues related to these conditions. Being a part of the LGBT community I have a passion for gender-affirming care and addressing relationship issues. I also have experience with eating disorders, fitness, nutrition, and health related issues.
As a University of Oregon Graduate, I understand the challenges students can face. College can be presented as a fun experience where you meet new people and prepare for your future. While we all hope this is the case, sometimes life happens. The pressure of classes, grades, family, or personal challenges can get in the way of your experience. Having the right support system and tools to navigate life as a student is important, and I am here to help.
You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or weighed down by the pressures of daily life. Maybe you’ve been carrying old wounds, navigating painful relationships, or struggling to feel like your authentic self in a world that doesn’t always make space for you. You want relief, but also real healing- a chance to feel grounded, connected, and empowered in your own life. As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, I understand the importance of honoring the intersecting identities and systemic influences that shape your journey.

The demands of life, as well as ever growing expectations, can cause us to feel disconnected from ourselves, our dreams and the people around us. And as we move through life we can experience challenges that may prompt change, but we may not feel prepared for these challenges. This can cause us to feel overwhelmed and uncertain about how to navigate our future, but these challenges can also be opportunities for growth that can be discovered with the help of a therapist.
Assisting woman-identified Oregon State students for nearly twenty years has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I have assisted students in all areas of study and from many continents. I have aided students in managing existing mental health challenges, adjusting to new mental health diagnoses, navigating academic stressors and relationship changes, healing from sexual assaults and traumas, learning to use their voice, becoming more comfortable in their bodies, and more. Being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker means that I believe that we are best understood in relation to our inner and outer environments, and also that our strengths hold wisdom that act as a blueprint for understanding our challenges. I work relationally with no workbooks or homework and believe that a healthy therapeutic relationship is a the most important tool in assisting others. My counseling style has been described as warm and nurturing, yet direct. I work best with students who are seeking therapy for themselves and are looking to actively engage in a change process. Feminist and Narrative theories heavily inform my work and I also use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as tools to help create lasting change.
Meaningful change happens when we are truly seen and understood. My approach is flexible, non-pathologizing, and interactive. I work from a humanistic, relational perspective, and I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where you are genuinely cared for and respected. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship, rooted in empathic understanding and curiosity. I integrate IFS, EMDR, Mindfulness, Somatic Psychology, Psychodynamic therapy, and CBT, tailoring the approach to what feels most supportive for you. I trust your inner wisdom, and my role is to help you reconnect with it as a collaborative partner in your process - compassionately, transparently, and without judgment.
