Hello! I specialize in working with engineering and other STEM students that feel overwhelmed by their academic and personal lives. As a former mental health ambassador for two top engineering programs in the country, I have a wealth of experience working with students who are driven, highly intelligent and under intense pressure to succeed. I also work with engineers and engineering managers across STEM industries and can support students in their career exploration process. I am a neuro-divergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming provider that will take the time to tailor your therapy experience to exactly what you need. I am looking forward for the chance to meet you. Feel free to reach out for a free 15 min consultation to discuss how I can help you in your journey through and after school.
Many of the clients I work with feel weighed down by stress, anxiety, or life transitions. As someone raising two college-age children, I understand how change can bring both growth and uncertainty. Life often pulls us in many directions, and it can be hard to slow down and care for ourselves. Together, we take time to explore what feels heavy, build healthier ways to cope, and create a sense of balance, confidence, and peace.
If you're trying to break unhealthy patterns in your life—whether they are things you've learned from your family or habits you’ve noticed in how you treat yourself and others—you’re in the right place. As two first-generation Latina therapists, we understand how hard it can be to figure out what’s not working in your life and try to change it, especially if going to therapy isn't something that's normalized within your family or community. We know that the path you are on can feel isolated and overwhelming. Which is why we created Sin Miedo Counseling - to support cycle-breakers like you. We offer counseling that is warm, authentic, and nonjudgmental so you can feel that you have someone who has your back while you work towards the change you want to see in your life. If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or down, we can help by offering strategies to help you regulate your nervous system and challenge that inner critic who is telling you that you don't deserve joy or rest in your life. If you're nervous about starting counseling, that's okay. We got you and we'd be honored to join you in your journey.
Choosing to begin counseling is a meaningful first step on your journey toward self-discovery, wellness, and growth. It would be an honor to work alongside you and support you through whatever you're facing. One of the beautiful things about therapy is that it’s not just for difficult times: you can also seek support during life’s most joyful and transformative moments. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals at your own pace. Whether you're navigating anxiety, a life transition, or simply seeking greater clarity, I'm here to help you move forward with confidence!
The college experience is not what Hollywood would have you believe. In addition to being academically challenging, students often face other challenges such as learning how to navigate the logistics of life (such as making it to an 8:00 a.m. class!) without the oversight and structure of parents, learning how to establish new friendships, learning relationship skills, and finding balance in their lives. It can simply be overwhelming. You may just need a little help. I am an LCSW and have 30 years experience in the social work field and have spent the past 6 years providing mental health counseling with students in a university setting - my favorite population ever! I have worked with students dealing with adjustment to college, executive functioning, relationship issues and navigating helicopter parents. College students can find themselves experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD and sometimes this is the age when issues like bipolar disorder and schizophrenia arise. Sometimes past trauma begins to rear its ugly head and cause issues that need addressing. Asking for professional help can be scary; but can help you determine if you might just need some skills to help you better cope or if you have deeper issues going on. Just know that you are the one in control in counseling sessions - I can't insist you share more than you are ready to share or "make" you do anything you don't want to do! You are the boss! I would love to walk with you in your journey! This can be a very exciting time and we want you to make the most of the opportunity.
(Also accepting Baylor Scott and White) You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or questioning your identity. I work with people facing addiction, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, life transitions, LGBTQ+ concerns, and relational issues. You're searching for clarity, peace, or just a space where you're heard. If you’re ready to move forward—even if you’re not sure how—I’ll meet you where you are. You don’t have to do this alone. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 5 years of experience. My goal is to walk with you—through the highs and lows, setbacks and growth. My work is rooted in your values and perspective. I don’t give quick fixes or cookie-cutter advice. Instead, I offer grounded support to help you explore, reflect, and move toward meaningful change. You're not broken. You're human—and you're not alone. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating. It can be empowering. I offer a judgment-free space where your thoughts, feelings, and values are welcomed and explored. If you’re ready to start this journey toward self-discovery and growth, click to connect. Let’s take that step—together.
You're used to holding it all together, but inside it's starting to feel like too much. You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns you can't seem to break. Maybe you're overthinking everything, feeling stress in your relationships, or carrying the weight of past experiences. I’m a family trauma therapist and I’d love to help you heal from family chaos. Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with those impacted by addiction, mental health challenges, and intergenerational trauma. I specialize in trauma, EMDR, and working with overachievers who are ready to move beyond coping and create meaningful and lasting change. My approach blends EMDR, parts work (IFS), and attachment-focused therapy to support deep, lasting healing. Rather than just talking through challenges, we’ll gently process past experiences, understand the parts of you that feel stuck or overwhelmed, and work toward a greater sense of safety and connection, both within yourself and in your relationships. If you grew up in a chaotic, unpredictable, or emotionally unsafe family, you may now find yourself struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, or a constant sense of pressure to be “okay.” Even when life is stable, your nervous system may not feel at ease. Reach out if you're ready to stop just surviving through the day and start thriving in life.
The goal is to feel seen, heard, empowered, and equipped to take on life's many challenges. The primary populations with which I have worked since 2006 are children, teenagers, and families who have been impacted by abuse and trauma providing advocacy, crisis intervention, and brief targeted interventions. I take a person centered and solution focused approach to therapy. You are the leader in the process, and I am here as a support and resource. You can book me by clicking on my website.

College can feel overwhelming. Classes pile up, friendships shift, family expectations get louder, and suddenly you’re supposed to make big decisions about your future while still figuring out who you are. It’s a lot, and many students tell me they feel stressed, anxious, or unsure of what they’re doing — even if they look “fine” on the outside. If you’ve been feeling this way too, you’re not alone. I’m a therapist who works with college students dealing with stress, social anxiety, career worries, and the ups and downs of adjusting to college life. In our sessions, you get a calm, supportive space to talk about what’s going on, sort through the noise, and learn ways to feel more grounded and confident day to day. We’ll look at what’s getting in your way, what you want for yourself, and what small steps can help you feel better — without pressure, judgment, or complicated language. You set the pace, and we focus on what matters most to you. Therapy can be a place to slow down, breathe, and figure out what you need to feel more like yourself again.
As a mental health therapist and licensed clinical social worker, I find great honor in walking alongside people amid different seasons of life. I approach my work from a relational and trauma-informed framework while drawing from a variety of treatment modalities. My aim is to create a safe and trusting therapeutic environment that equips clients to achieve their individual goals ultimately enriching their lives. I commonly work with people presenting with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I additionally have specialized training and experience working with those who have endured complex trauma, sexual harm and those who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation or trafficking.
Welcome! I’m a compassionate and client-centered counselor dedicated to helping students navigate stress, anxiety, academic pressures, and life transitions with confidence and clarity. My approach is collaborative and supportive, creating a space where you can feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow. I am a board certified psychiatrist and provide combined psychotherapy and medication treatment. My patients are typically looking for therapy to address concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. They are also often looking for support with evidence-based medication treatment. I listen carefully to understand the difficulties that bring someone to treatment and to understand their goals. I am collaborative in my approach. I approach psychotherapy from a psychodynamic perspective, where the goal is to increase understanding and insight into thoughts, feelings, and behavior. When we can understand ourselves better, we can then change patterns that may be getting in our way. This type of therapy can often lead to lasting change. Please note that because my practice is telehealth only, I do not prescribe controlled substances (for example, stimulants for ADHD or medications such as Xanax or Ativan for anxiety).
Hi, I’m Tony, and I offer virtual therapy for college students navigating anxiety, identity, and everything in between. College can feel like both a fresh start and a heavy weight—especially when you’re trying to figure out who you are in a world that often expects you to have all the answers. If you’re feeling anxious, uncertain about the future, or just not quite yourself, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to go through it alone either. In my practice, I work with college students who are dealing with anxiety, self-doubt, identity questions, and the pressure to “get it right.” Many of my clients are exploring who they are outside of other people’s expectations—especially around gender, sexuality, culture, and family. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I create a space where all parts of you are welcome and respected. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, untangle what’s going on inside, and connect more deeply with yourself. No performance. No judgment. Just room to breathe and be real. If you’re ready to explore who you are and how you want to show up in the world, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
